Installing Stripes?

I am interested in a CE1 kit for my 01 C5 Quicksilver metallic vert with torch red interior. Kind of undecided between black or red kit.Anyway, I was quoted $450- $500 to install this rather uncomplicated kit on a convertible. So, I think I'll do it myself. The kit is only $250 from PFYC. Vette Stripes wants $295.

Any good hints on installing. Or any input on really good videos or instructions? The Vette Stripes instructions seem a little lacking in clear detail.
Thanks,
Dave

Head over to YouTube and search under "Corvette Stripe Installation". There are a lot of good videos showing the process.

Applied not installed, my bust.

Can't help you with the install, but IMO, the TR stripes would look great with the TR interior.

Local guys want 450+ to install. Scr$$w that!. If I do it, I will do It myself. Thanks. I agree with you and think the TR will br the the best choice.
Today, I went to Lowes and got some black screw covers for the trunk screws. Looks good. Even I could put them on.
Dave
