Sorry that Sandy hit you so hard but at least it seems you got very good value for your car. Fixing up the house would seem to be the priority. Glad that you're safe.

Hope your fortunes improve so you can get back into a Corvette soon.

Stay around until you get another one. You don't need one to be here. Look at Chas. Or UD. Good luck with your effort to get back to normal. Been there. It will work out.

All the best - there will always be time for another Vette if you so desire down the road.

NaplesDoc427 11-16-2012 07:02 AM

Best of luck to you and I agree, hang out here until someday down the road you get a new Vette (and you will!).

Hopefullly things will return to relative normalcy for you and your family sooner rather than later. Sorry about your car but you can always get another one down the road if you so choose. Good luck.

1st comes your family and your health...........all else is just relative BS!

I wish you well.

Sandy caused a lot of problems. For those that believe insurance takes care of everything after a disaster that is just not true.

Geico was great with the whole appraisal. They settled for far more than I thought I would get. 46K. Great settlement, but money has to go to house repair and pay off on new truck. Hopefully will be back someday.

$46k??? Who is your insurance agent??

wase13 11-16-2012 07:14 PM

Very nice payoff indeed for 2007.

DonOH 11-16-2012 07:31 PM

Sorry for the loss. Glad the insurance worked out.

I know how that Sandy thing goes. It hit 3 days after we closed on the townhouse we were going to move into now. Be lucky to be in there in two months.

But my Vette survived so I can console myself with that.

Living on the Gulf Coast I know what you are going thru lord knows we have our share of storms down here. You know what you have to do right now so take care of business and get everything back in order. You will be back better than ever my friend, keep the faith and remember to count your blessings. Good luck.....
