I hope they have one at SEMA next week. It would be nice to see one up close. This should be a tuners dream with a supercharger!

Looking at the pictures and wording it looks like the dry sump is optional. The first motor shot is a wet sump.
It will be interesting. I know anyone modding the auto camaros is deleting the AFM and DOD. Swapping the junk AFM lifters out and going to ls3 style. This makes cam swaps and modding them a lot more expensive. |

50 lb/ft more torque at the low end. How can you not like that? That will be fabulous in normal street driving.
Can you guys not see what is going on? This is the mild cam version. This is designed for low end torque. Just like when they had several versions of the 327 or 396 in the same year. Or the 400hp Automatic Camaro. 26MPG is likely the combined milage. It is 19 on the 2013. If that is the case that is a HUGE improvement. They could easily make an upgraded model that is closer to 500 HP with a wilder cam and and no AFM, no DoD, premium only 12.5 to 1 compression. Mileage would of course suffer. The truck version will likely be around 425 with even more low end torque. This is actually exciting news to me. |

Everybody chill. In 2-3 years there will be an engine refresh and C7 v2 will have ~480hp. This happened with C5, C6 and there's no reason to believe it won't happen with C7.
Not that I personally care. I'm more concerned about what new technologies they implemented to manage traction to put all that power down. |
