Heres a little better cut of the original photo, shows it next to the camaro. Wish I could get the original to upload, but it fails each time.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/pict...ctureid=119115 Not sure I like the bigger front overhang and (C3-like?) pointy nose. I wouldn't imagine that it serves any functional purpose. |
I can't really tell much of anything about the hatch from these pics. Still too much camo to tell what's really happening with those quarter windows. It does seem like the hatch tapers in near the bottom as some PSed images have shown.
The impression I get is that the roof looks really low compared to the tail end. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/pict...ctureid=119110 |

Wow shurshot i see it too
|
Taillights on rear shot of #31 above seem to be higher up, closer to deck lid than renderings or C6 to me. Am I correct?

FINALLY someone comes through. Kudos to the OP, someone promote this guy or give him a damn prize...
THANK YOU! |

Moving from the C5 to the C6, I swaer I read somewhere that the engineers made a conscious effort to extend wheels as far out as possible for optimal handling. Can't image why they would now increase the front overhang (assuming it has been extended) |
That rear 31 pic looks like a ferrari

If only a forum member was a cop and just pull them over.and when they roll down window or open door get a peek.lol

Does the splitter on the one next to the Camero look like it is a little bit lower to the ground to anybody beside me?

What if shurshot is right and they r testing two different ones.the base to be released first and from all this testing the better one will spend the.next year getting tweaked.ya never know

Just got off the phone with my old man.....What GM has told them they are doing high altitude calibration on the new engines. Been there all week, should be there a few days more. What's silly is anybody can go rent a room above and shoot pictures below.

On the same one next to the Camaro and where the light is shining in the middle of the hood, I can almost see the outline of the hood vent pictured in some of the first C7 drawings, and what some ZR1 owners have done to their window.
However, it could just be the light helping to reflect what I would like to see. |

The two C7s with the car covers appear to me to emphasize the increased front overhang of the C7 relative to a C6. This looks to me to be excerbated by, or perhaps entirely due to, the fact that the C7 is way more "sharp pointy" (from an overhead view) than the C6.

Looks like the one closest to the Camaro a huge wart on it's nose that has pulled the cover up revealing the bottom lip of the splitter.
But even accounting for this apparent "wart", the C7 front overhang looks pretty substantial to me. |

Based on this photo, it looks like there's going to be a lot of taper to the the rear "greenhouse" of the car. If you look closely I think you can see the edge of the glass, and there is a lot of rear deck between that line and the edge of the fender.
I think this car is going to be absolutely stunning! |
Jake, if you google Caravaggio Corvettes and keep scrolling down you will find the C7 style roof line on one of their project cars
|
I know this is stupid but what if the hood is longer cause its a v10 or bigger.stupid i know..but if they can make a bear ride a tricycle in a circus then anything is possible.

That bear is wearing an SRT shirt.
