The two C7s with the car covers appear to me to emphasize the increased front overhang of the C7 relative to a C6. This looks to me to be excerbated by, or perhaps entirely due to, the fact that the C7 is way more "sharp pointy" (from an overhead view) than the C6.

Not sure I like the bigger front overhang and (C3-like?) pointy nose. I wouldn't imagine that it serves any functional purpose.

I can't really tell much of anything about the hatch from these pics. Still too much camo to tell what's really happening with those quarter windows. It does seem like the hatch tapers in near the bottom as some PSed images have shown.

The impression I get is that the roof looks really low compared to the tail end.

Does the splitter on the one next to the Camero look like it is a little bit lower to the ground to anybody beside me?

Makes me wonder if we have a base and a higher-end model undercover and side-by-side.

Taillights on rear shot of #31 above seem to be higher up, closer to deck lid than renderings or C6 to me. Am I correct?

Moving from the C5 to the C6, I swaer I read somewhere that the engineers made a conscious effort to extend wheels as far out as possible for optimal handling. Can't image why they would now increase the front overhang (assuming it has been extended)

On the same one next to the Camaro and where the light is shining in the middle of the hood, I can almost see the outline of the hood vent pictured in some of the first C7 drawings, and what some ZR1 owners have done to their window.

However, it could just be the light helping to reflect what I would like to see.

Looks like the one closest to the Camaro a huge wart on it's nose that has pulled the cover up revealing the bottom lip of the splitter.

Yes, on closer inspection, I think you are right. What could the "wart" be? Unlikely location for data acquisition equipment? A small camo fabric bundle?

But even accounting for this apparent "wart", the C7 front overhang looks pretty substantial to me.

I hope someone will offer a similar looking a.m. c7 style hatch for my c6.
