:ack:

What an abomination that thing is! Even the "hot" chick posing with it isn't hot at all!

:ack:

LS7 BUD 02-19-2012 09:12 AM

That's horrible...!

I liked the one in the movie better, it had a wider stance. The replica looks like a high school shop project gone wrong. :ack:

Too bad they had to ruin a perfectly good C6 to make that POS...:ack:
Somebody should send those guys a Miata to play with.

Kinda funny how "kustomizing" and Corvettes has always gone together. Maybe it's the fiberglass body that lends itself to being morphed... with usually horrible consequences.

Seems only reasonably accepted conversions are when new models are taken back in design, like these C5 to C1 customs:
http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/corv...vettefront.JPG or http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/corv...m/DSC00072.JPG

I still wouldn't want one though. :ack:
To me, the essence of Corvette should remain genuine. Honest performance over silly go-fast looking bits.

So this (awful) C7 wannabee made out of a now-ruined C6 isn't the first time someone tried to make the current generation look like the next.

From a current thread in the C1/C2 forum:
"This has to be the ugliest SWC I have seen"
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...have-seen.html
features this '63 Split Window Coupe - customized to look like a next gen C3

Fugly IMO, :U

I think the reason it looks so 'off' is because it is not wide enough, looks like it's kept the C6 base width and if it was say as wide as the extra wide Z06 kits might give it a better look and also would need to be stretched a fair bit. definitely the rims are hurting the look as well.

the workmanship actually looks decent for the smooth lines just too stumpy and skinny. if it was stretched and much wider it might not look to bad

that gold coloured vette above, wow that hurt my eye's

and the C1 on the right well...... :leaving:

horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

TGstring 02-20-2012 12:48 PM

First,
why's the guy leaning on the car wearing a dress?

Second,
Why's the car parked in a handicapped spot?

Third,
Why are the cops circling while the photos are being taken?

Fourth,
The only heads that will turn are the ones turning away to throw up.

Facepalm.

PbPedis 02-20-2012 02:07 PM

As ugly as that thing is, it's still better looking than the "model" that is posing with it. And just to clarify, the car is one of the ugliest things I've seen in a long time. Just BRUTAL!

JETZ 02-21-2012 12:37 AM

It should sell like hot cakes in Puerto Rico! :U

Prospective owner?
