It looks like using the blendmount would seriously degrade what little visibility you have towards the front passenger area of the car. :confused2:

Amazed at how many will buy a 50/80K car, and cheap out on a radar mount :crazy2:

Hell, between coffee, pepsi, fast food, and crap like that, I'll blow a $100 in a week :D

:iagree::iagree: I did mine because there was no mount that put the detector where I wanted it to be.

For me, it's not about the money. I'm 6'2" and the Bendmount have the radar detector under the mirror is just too much in my line of sight. I prefer my Escort 9500ix to be a little higher up. That is why I have mine mounted up near the visor. Nothing to do with the cost.

Not saying everyone is cheap, but some people have "custom" built some horrible looking mounts, just to save a buck. I understand what you are saying though, I had a V1 in my last Vette mounted on the visor, hated that I couldn't use the visor 100%.

I see my mirror has a plug in the back of it. So, in order to plug in the radar detector, do I have to unplug something else in the mirror? How do you know which plug holes to put the prongs into? (And don't tell me, that's what she said!)

You don't unplug anything. You just insert the prongs into the back of the connector into the appropriate color wires that they tell you to use for your vehicle model and year.
