Very nice conversion!
I see you have the C4 DNE speedometer signal generator in position - did the speedometer drive gear line up with it correctly??? What did you decide on for a 'shifter'??? :D |

I will be going to analog gauges in the future.
how will this effect my ABS brakes ? Normal brake operation "remains fully operational"... |

I have seen those. Autometer sells those for there electric speedometers
My plan is to get the factory speed sensor working and then hook an electric autometer to it. If I understand you, you're going to try using the C4 sender to drive an AutoMeter gauge/cluster??? I would check with John first to make sure it will work...(You might need their sender/pulse generator)... |

I went from the DNE 4+3 to a 4-spd trans w/cable speedometer actuation.
I needed a cable operated signal generator. Also do same for later ECM requiring 4000 pulse VSS input |

Also do same for later ECM requiring 4000 pulse VSS input http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3.../adapter_1.jpg It works great! No jittering, no error codes, speedo & odo read correctly, ABS tests OK, etc. I didn't like the idea of it being hidden under the car right on the trans, so they made me up a 48" cable extension and I fabricated a bracket to mount it in the engine compartment... http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...pulse_gen2.jpg |
