Happy 100th Birthday To General Motors!

HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY TO CHEVROLET TODAY!!! :canadaflag:

A good friend of mine at GM Canada called me last week saying that Breakfast Television is going to be doing a special today on Chevrolet's 100th Birthday down at the BT Studios in Toronto and he needed some special cars for the event.

I was able to help arrange for a 1928 Chevrolet Truck that was originally built in Oshawa and is a one of a kind that a friend owns. Another friend of mine was kind enough to bring his 1969 Camaro Pace Car Convertible AND his 2011 Camaro Pace Car Convertible.

I believe GM Canada will have a new Chevrolet Volt there and I am hoping for a Corvette as well but I am not sure. I do know space is tight so I think they are limited to 5 cars or so.

Anyway, on my down now to meet TFX International at the BT Studios as they picked up all the cars yesterday (THANKS ADAM & WALLY). Check it out on TV if you can. The show itself airs from 6:00am to 9:00am but Chevrolet's 100th segment should be on at around 8:30am or so give or take.

Ciao!

You can view it online: http://video.citytv.com/video/detail...rsday-8am9am/#

Chev part is at about 15:30 into the video. The pickup, 2 Camaro's, a Volt and a Sonic.

FYI, the "Bowtie" is actually a stylized rendition of the Swiss "cross" on their flag. Louis Chevrolet's birth nation.

Happy Birthday, Chevrolet!

I never met a Chevy I didn't like.

Er... or couldn't fix, and send it on it's way! :D

4:55 am the "day-of" - a little more warning would have been nice ;)

It's only one of two stories and has never been confirmed as fact.
Here is an interesting story.

Sometimes birthdays just sneak up on you. Never know when they're going to happen. :D
