I posted a week ago about my friends car overheating after we put in the Procharger. It turns out that the fan was wired backwards, so we switched the wires it works fine now.

SomeDay,
Glad we could help you out with the tech support. We had the same problem and when I saw your post, I knew what the issue was. What is the car running at now, temp wise? Shawn |
Re: Fixed Procharger overheating - fan WAS wired backwards (L.A.P.D.)
It's running around 210-215
We might get it out to the track this week to see what she'll do. |

good to hear it was something simple :yesnod: By the way, now that this chapter is past you, how hard was that do-it-yourself install? [Modified by SteveL2, 4:26 PM 5/5/2002] |
Re: Fixed Procharger overheating - fan WAS wired backwards (SteveL2)
Actually it wasn't too bad. The hardest part was getting all the tubing to fit. It took us about 13 hours to finish, plus a few more hours to do the gages (boost and fuel pressure).
