Polished on Machine Silver.

Chrome or polished both compliment silver IMO.
Black wheels are just a dark blob in the wheel wells no matter what color they are on. |

Why are Chrome & Polished joined as one choice in the poll?

Black mesh wheel, silver (body cover) pin stripe on the lip with the transparent top!

Probably due to the fact that from a distance true high polished wheels look to be chrome or the other way around.
Kinda like saying, from a distance a full head of real hair looks like a good toupee or the other way around. I am not of the opinion that chrome plated metal wheels can ever look like machine polished, forged aluminum. That's why I think it inappropriate for chrome & polished to be combined into one poll choice. But then again, hey! |
I tend to agree. I would be insulted if someone said my $5K chrome wheels looked like polished wheels!:D I couldn't resist.

Although not Silver, definately

But I saw one just like this in person and it looked bad to the bone. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...e-Panamera.jpg http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...lackwheels.jpg |

No really, just to simplify. I wanted to keep it to four or less choices, kind of a shiny wheel vs dark wheel poll. I actually have the factory polished, and I think it is pretty common for people to mistake highly polished with chrome from a distance. |
Black

I had silver originally:

Grey...or anything else but chrome. And I agree that polished and chrome are closely related, but chrome just sucks on a Vette. Unless it is a convertible with a automatic transmission.
I have just never liked chrome wheels. Maybe chrome beauty rings back in the day, but not chrome rims. Some cars look good with chrome I guess just not my preference. |

The dealer offered me a Heck of a price on a Blade Silver with the Comp Grey wheels. I thought the Grey Wheels sounded good on the Blade Silver. Then I saw it at the dealers. I passed on the car. I think chrome still looks the best. Just my own 2 cents worth.
