Couldn't ever find a happy medium. The jake was always too light and couldn't tell what it was or it was too dark and obscured the DRL too much.
I have played with a hydro across the bezel similar to the way they do the race car.[/QUOTE That sounds interesting, by any chance do you have any pics and can you shoot me a pm with pricing. |

Were you ever able to do anything with carbon fiber headlights?

Okay, I read through this whole 13 page thread (as well as many other related threads) and have decided it might be better to just order replacement headlights. Mine are factory installed with the crazing option (which I don't remember ordering) and the car (a 2009 Cyber Gray Z06) has never had any covering on the headlights, no alcohol, no cleaners, and has spent most of it's life sitting in a mostly climate controlled garage with no windows (i.e. no sun). I've been complaining to the various dealerships in the area (before and after warranty expired), but have gotten no results. I'm very disappointed that a $80K+ car can have such a basic part failure, even to warrant a TSB, and GM won't help.
As such, since I have to replace the headlights and I've always liked the look of the halo bulbs, I might as well do both while I have the front end apart to remove the headlights. It seems as though you get certain color headlights (aside from black) on a casual basis, so I'd like to be put on the Cyber Gray list. I would be interested in two headlights, with halo, and no trade-in on my current lights. I'd like to keep them, for what purpose, I don't know. Let me know pricing and availability. Certainly no hurry on this as the car spends most of its life in the garage anyway. |
I have a set of cyber grey available. I can do the lights, halo's and new lens shipped to you ready to plug and play for $1550.00 I need approx a week due to curing times.
