A Work of Art...

John - I absolutely love your work. The quality and attention to detail are unmatched. Save those patterns - although the C7 will likely hit the market before I can afford to do a complete interior swap, it is on my list! Thanks for the photos...

Looks nice. I have a question. Is the seating surface raised any with the new seats? As in, would I be sitting any higher in the car (even .25 inches or less) in relation to the stock seats?

Snake.Oiler 08-14-2011 05:15 PM

Very nice.

The seating surface that your behind sits on has not been changed so you sit the same as the factory seats.

If I were rich instead of good looking I'd spend that much in a heartbeat for one of your interiors.

wow 20k interior for a 2005 ? I mean , uh dont even know what to type.. Dont get me wrong thos pics look fantastic and i could just imagine the scent of the leather inside after it being parked with the windows up..Ummm..

But 20k for a car that is worth about 22-25 maybe 26k is hard to take.. Just saying...

Jeff @ TPE 08-15-2011 01:11 AM

That looks GOOOOOODD.

And to think I just paid 18200.00 for an entire C6.

Beautiful interior.

Only a dream here though for 20k.

I love the all one color, especially black.

:iagree: Fantastic work, just seems wasted on a 05. But as long as the owner enjoys it, thats what counts.

V1 Vr V2 08-15-2011 11:00 AM

Very Very Nice.

brooklync5 08-15-2011 12:47 PM

It looks incredible but 20k WOAH that's alot of money for an interior upgrade. Anyway I guess if you got it spend it on what you love.

srtclg1007 08-15-2011 01:19 PM

Amazing. A ZR1 with that interior... I mean, what would the critics nit pick about then? You'd still be under $135K total.

KneeDragr 08-15-2011 01:56 PM

The definitely brings it up to the level of the lower end exotics like Porsche and Audi.

lsbrodsky 08-15-2011 03:44 PM

Absolutely beautiful. If I could have a "do over" I would just drive my car up, after delivery.

Mardis Gras 08-15-2011 03:48 PM

Beautiful work as usual John.

Nick996 08-23-2011 02:16 PM

Looks fantastic!!

My comments.... for that kind of coin WHY didn't the owner swap out steering wheel? And the portion of the dash on the passenger side where the air bag would come out is an eye sore IMO. Especially if this indeed was $20k!!! It stands out too much. Too bad there isn't a better way to hide that.

rz2mbc 08-23-2011 04:01 PM

very nice indeed !!

Jim Nebraska 08-23-2011 05:31 PM

It's the Corvette version of "The Ugly Duckling"! You've turned the interior from the ugly duck to the swan! If GM wanted to really compete on an appearance basis (not performance), this would be how their interiors would look. Really nice....

designerRob 08-23-2011 09:29 PM

The interior looks awesome. Too bad for me that it's so expensive. It's definitely NOT wasted on the 05' base coupe. VERY well done.
