Did you have any trouble crossing the border either direction? I remember the customs agent was a real douche nozzle when I was trying to get back into the states.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.
Going to have to make a trip out there. |
Nice photos. My wife and I were there in August of '99, and the few pix posted are the slightest hint of what that area is like. The hotels themselves are something to behold. We were unfortunately in a rental, so there wasn't much to the driving experience. We continued north on the Icefields Parkway to Jasper which is also spectacular.

The next time you are there, get a shot with Mt. Rundle in the backgound. When I was there in 2000, Rundle was the wildest thing I ever saw, with that big scoop cut out of it, I can see it in my mind right now. We stayed at Douglas Fir condos and skied Sunshine and Louise. Best vaca I ever did.

Beautiful and Awesome are the two words that describe those photos.

We saw Mt. Rundle also, as well as the hot spring. We took the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mt. you can see for miles, at least 50 on a clear day. They have a huge deck/walkway at the top and the views are breathtaking. They even preserved the weatherstation there, that the weatherman used to walk up to everyday, till he was into his 70's.

I tripped across this video link and thought of you... beautiful car, beautiful place....... in a Ferrari.

Man after seeing your pics i never realized just how much i miss being in Alberta. My wife and i have been in Toronto for the past 5 year's because of a family medical condition.
After seeing those shots we can't wait to get back there, the place we have called home for the previous 20 year's. BTW great plate on your awesome car, fantastic shots on everything:thumbs::thumbs: |
