Breathtaking shots, each and every one.

I was equally impressed with your numerous abilities: posing the car, and balancing the overall exposures. Did you perform much PS work?

Great job, stunning results either way.

Thanks, the only PS I did was removed a stop sign (by the hood and windshield) when parked at the Chateau Lake Louise as I wanted to get a shot of the mountain but there was no place using the car in the pic also.

Beautiful.
One of the best vacations of my life was spent up there. You're lucky to live so close.

Yes, my wife and I try to never take it for granted. :yesnod:

Your pictures show off Banff much better than mine did. You also got the bear and elk I missed. Thank you for capturing it in all it's splendor. I will add your photos to mine. You live in beautiful country.

Thanks, I am glad you got to experience it.

Wow. As a ZR lover and a rifleman/hunter, don't know what grabbed me most. Your cyber grey ZR (best color IMO for the ZR) or the bighorn sheep and elk.

Fabulous pics.

Beautiful country you have up there.

I like to shoot them too............... with my Camera only though.....

Awesome pics, awesome camera, awesom car!

Now on to the important stuff.. what exhaust is that on that ZR1 and is that 4" quad exhaust tips? They look much better than the smaller 3.5" quad ones that you can barely see.

Corsa exhaust with the 4' pro series tips, love 'em!!

:thumbs:Awesome pics! I remember going there as a teen with my parents in their motorhome, the scenery is breathtaking. That Hotel looks great, I don't recall it, is that the Fairmount? The Hotel I recall was older, I think it may have been at Lake Louise.

Good memory, that Hotel in the first pics is the Fairmont Banff Springs, it was built originally in 1888, then totally rebuilt etc in 1928.

Now the Chateau Lake Louise is actually known as the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, so they both are Fairmont hotels. It was built in 1913. Both these hotels were originally built by Canadian Pacific Railway and Fairmont purchased them somewhat recently.

God's country!. Beautiful pictures and scenery, reminds me of places I used to camp and backpack in Montana, particularly Bob Marshall/Scapegoat Wilderness and Glacier Park. Well done!

Hmmm, great pics and your car looks great. I think the only thing i would have stayed clear of is that mama bear and her cub.

Kind of nervous about the bears these days as I am heading out into Glacier NP on Thursday for a week.

OT - but I personally wouldent hike in Glacier unless I had a shotgun with solid slugs in it. Thats standard issue to all park rangers at that park because its the only thing thats got a good chance of bringing down a pissed off grizzly.

Dont believe the hype on the spray, its only tested on uninterested bears who are minding their own business. A female protecting her cubs will run right through that stuff.

Horseback riding in groups is plenty safe, but if you hike or backpack there for a week you have a very good change of running into a bear.

Great looking car and even greater looking scenery. I always love driving through areas just like yours but down here in the states. Haven't been in western Canada but have been through the eastern parts quite a bit. Happy cruising.

The Rocky Mountains - Banff - Lake Louise areas are among the most beautiful on earth!! No shots here of Lake Louise, but you would not believe the color of the emerald green water!
