I was curious, because sometimes a seatbelt will pin you in & down & the door goes over you. Sometimes your almost better off not wearing a belt & being tossed to the otherside away from harms way....
it does happen now & then.

A little ZAINO will cure that little scuff, dont worry about it !!!

C3 4ME 07-11-2011 06:52 PM

wow, that car is toast. You are lucky to be alive and here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

Timsride 07-11-2011 07:01 PM

WOW that was a hard hit. It looks like the frame rail saved your life. That would take quite an impact to bend it like that. Hopefully you make a full recovery.

GD70 07-11-2011 07:19 PM

That was some impact!
Glad you're recovering.
Now what will happen with insurance? Will the Ins Co's battle it out, or will you be cut a check for full value of the Vette to replace it?

Take care and you were VERY LUCKY.

Glenn

BTW, did someone get in there and swipe your center gauges?

Clubby99 07-11-2011 07:43 PM

I prior owner was a CF member. Is he still here? What does he think?

oldsarge 07-11-2011 07:44 PM

Take care, get well soon, and if it is what you want, I hope you find another vette, that you will like, best of luck !!!!

gq82 07-11-2011 08:44 PM

Wow, it's one thing to read about your accident but to see those pictures that really brings it home....your title for this thread is very appropriate.....Take care of yourself.

mrit 07-11-2011 08:44 PM

Wow! Hope ya get better quick! How was the condition of the birdcage on that car? Looks like it ripped the #2 mount right out!
