That is VERY stupid...I didn't even notice it was gone, funny how you see things you're used to seeing even when they aren't there!:crazy2:
What????? You had to remove the stripes because of a registration issue......not trying to get off topic here, but that certainly caught my attention!!! I hope they were vinyl, not painted...........:hide: What a shame....... |

Taxes in another name. :hide: |

WOW! Stunning "skunk"! Beautiful car you have there. You can be proud.
I wouldn't worry too much about doing tribute to the GS paint scheme. After all, paint and stick-on fender flairs and badging is all that separates the standard 96 manual trans C4 from the GS, much as they hate to admit it. Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that all important VIN number!:D Here is what the GS should have been, IMO... http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...11005Large.jpg http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...11006Large.jpg And LOTUS had a 450 hp version of the LT5 ready to drop in the 95 ZR-1, and I think GM made a mistake by not offering it in the 96 GS. But, with the 350 hp C5 about to debut, AND the expense of qualifying the LT5 for OBD-II compliance...:hide: killed the project. P. |

I just did 2,066 miles road trip in 6 days. Went back to The Sequoia National Park, re-drove CA-Hwy 36, took PCH from Leggett to San Francisco, lost my week old new Sony DSC-HX9 after I took pictures from the Golden Gate Bridge, drove south on the US-101 and back home. Betty Boop has done a great job, 15,000 miles in less than five months. :D You NoCal and Central California stay tuned for this spring. You NoCal guys keep saying "its too far" well, Im taking the run to you. It is being plan as I write. The rumor is that there is a Lone Star Vette coming along. Lets see if he delivers :woohoo: http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...nalPlate-1.gif |

Im proud of all driven Vettes. Is a crime to have Vettes in garage queen status or less than 1,000 miles a year.
