Beautiful 92

Closed up the pool for the season on Sunday, which is a long process. By the time I finished up, I was tired and sore, but it was only late afternoon and there was still some sunshine left. So I decided to take the 'vette out for a drive along the Lake Michigan coast. Got out at Grand Haven, and walked the beach a bit as the shadows got longer. Wandered out past the lighthouse to the end of the pier and contemplated life for five minutes or an hour. Then I took an alternate route home along a deserted country road where I could really open her up. I'm going to have to store her for the winter soon, but I'm putting it off as long as possible. I'm a recent C4 owner, and I'm in love.

1996 Grand Sport
Just got it today, was traded in at local Chevy dealer by previous (1 owner) for a C8 vette. I am the second owner and only has 35k miles, plan on leaving it totally stock and just enjoying driving to car shows and nice weekend drives. I am a former Camaro / Chevelle guy and am new to the Corvette world, should be fun.

I've been having so much fun with her, I'm sad that winter storage is on the horizon. |

It took me a while to realize this is a Polo Green vette. Even now, it totally looks like a black vette reflecting it's background like I had thought. |

Beautiful car and engine upgrades so far...love the plates too...
David Here's a shot of that new setup all put together plus, the latest plate. Although the '30 FFTH' was a good one, new plate is more fitting for the Vette and really... as a whole in this never-ending classic car obsession 🤪 Mark~ https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...a970c51f61.jpg |

Beautiful car!
What do you use to get them sawblades looking so clean? https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...67bfd53f35.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...762f6ef910.jpg Our car was a 33k-mile survivor when we bought it last year, so the wheels were still in pretty good shape cosmetically. They're not literally "as-new" but they look pretty good for being 28 years old. |
