I've seen those BDS wheels a on a number of cars and never been a fan but on your 85 they look very nice. I guess it takes the right car and color and they just help bring it altogether.

Australia is a Right Hand Drive setup... makes it expensive when importing a LHD car.

Redid the interior in 2 months... looks nothing like when we got it... it looked a bit worn out and the carbon fibre look plus the red was just right to brighten the car up.

I just got my first Corvette two weeks ago and I'm lovin' every minute with her. Fixed the lights, horn, installed emergency hood release cables and touched up the hood with some Dr. ColorChip. I'll be replacing some of the failed weatherstripping tomorrow. I wouldn't have attempted any of these repairs without the DIY sticky thread on the C4 forum.

The Dr. ColorChip system really works well. They match your car's paint code exactly and if you follow their instructions, you get good results. Much better than traditional touch up paint. Imperceptible from 4 feet. I got startling results on my wife's Midnight Blue PT Cruiser. No more road rash. I have yet to see how it holds up to a polish and waxing. They advise waiting a few weeks before attempting either.

Purchased my '96 LT1 white/red combo just a week an a half ago. It looks as good as it runs now that I gave it a light compound buffing & waxing with Zaino.
Handles completely different from my '98 Coupe. I love the way it takes to the curves and passes everything in sight. (Big Smile) Took me a week to determine
that I 'had' to start using the cruse control before I got a ticket. :D I believe this one is what we would call; "A Keeper."

Hope you hade a nice time in Sweden:cool:. When this baby is at the winter storage i drive a Saab 9-5 year 2006, quite good winter car, but nothing beats the American iron :flag:

I did have a good time in Stockholm. World class food, shopping and friendly, helpful people. What better to drive in Sweden than a Saab? Maybe a Volvo.

In 1988, I ordered a Volvo V90 station wagon directly from the factory. Flew to Gothenburg and picked it up. Great fun. Saw a bit of Sweden, Norway and Denmark before dropping it off in Copenhagen for shipping back to the states. Took the bus to Jacksonville seaport and picked it up about 2 months later.

Thanks ! They are HREs, they were basically custom built /assembled / refinished by me using discontinued centers with new lips/barrels to get the sizes/offsets I wanted :) more info and pics in zr1 section I have a long thread there (admiral comes home ).

Shoot all it takes is one listen and you KNOW it's not a Gen 1 SBC. Or even Gen2.

I can only imagine what it sounds like in person. Jeeze.

My 1973 is out getting new everything, bushings, bearing, springs, shocks, vacuum lines, 375 hp 350, rebuild trans and I forget what else. Then off for a new interior from the carpet to the head liner, gauges, dash wiring loom and again I forget.

Then out to the be painted....I might see it again before summer of 2014.
