Any suggestions?
Is there any Octane Booster that will raise octane level more than 10 points? 8 points is the highest I've found. |
I've been running Lucas Octane Booster for several years after my tuner recommended it to minimize detonation which showed up when dyno tuning the car. Seems to have helped, but I have no idea how much of a boost it provides. The bottle makes no numerical claim. Max pump gas octane found here in CA is 91.

Buy race fuel concentrate....not "octane boosters"
True race fuel concentrate is the only way to get high octane blends. They're usually around ~20 dollars a bottle.

Boostane does a great job in my 82.

Klotz is the only octane booster without “mmt.”
Works very well in my 12.1:1 LS2, made 565 last time on the rollers. With methanol & CA91 it made 575. Looking forward to getting my methanol system back in action, the combination should push me over 600 to the tire according to my tuner/engine builder  |
Is the LS3 good for E85? Its flex fuel?
