I'm asking what the GVWR is. That number is on the sticker on the drivers door. The max load is on the sticker located on the driver's door jam.

On my 2010 Z06 (Mfg 10/09) w/2LZ/Nav =GVWR at 3650 lbs. Took it from door Joe.

If you are asking for the fastest, it would be the car described above. Not sure if it is the "best" though. It is also the most expensive by a country mile!

Around the track yes! Straight line mostly likely not! Same hp with the bigger rim's and tires create more drag.

You will have the best selection in the model years 2006-2008, followed by 2009. Then production numbers drop drastically subsequent years....

2010=518
2011=904
2012=478

So in terms of numbers, you will find it much more difficult to get a good selection in 2010 model year, a lil better in '11, and worse in '12.

Good Luck

What were the numbers for 2009? Thanks

That's what I was trying to get from FRDnemesis. The GVWR is the max weight of the car including the car with full liquids, and cargo including a driver and passenger. You take the GVWR and subtract the max cargo(that includes driver/passenger) and you have the weight of the vehicle. My car weighs 1 lb more then yours with a GVWR of 3651. I have chrome wheels, do you?

So far...GVWR minus max cargo load....

2006 2LZ at 3173 lbs(LMB-Z)
2009 2LZ at 3228 lbs(JoesC5)
2010 2LZ at 3227 lbs(Tim414)
2011 Z07 at 3243 lbs(CrystalRedZ07)
2012 Z07 at 3240 lbs(sky1)

Yes, remember back when I said it came with the "original" chrome Z06 wheels....and you went back and found there were indeed 84 sets (the last of) on 2010 Z's....

My 2012 Z07 comes in at 3240lbs

Now I remember. You made me look very foolish(and I deserved it). :thumbs: I wonder if my four spiders weigh 1 pound more then your four split spokes?

as someone who's plannin to buy a Z06 and been researching. i would say 08-09 seem to be the best buys right now. the older ones aren't much cheaper and these have the mech upgrades and sometimes less miles.
