C4 rack & pinion
 

I have a question about a C4 rack & pinion, I am installing a c4 corvette front crossmember and suspension under a custom project and the pressure lines on top of the rack are too tall. I wanted to know if I could move the passenger side of the rack forward or rearward, by removing the pressed in pin, drilling two new holes and twisting the tube so that the fitting tilt back or forard, to give me the clearance I need. Would doing this modification interfere with the way the fluid travels inside? Any help would be great
