I think it is cool that someone is clearly having a great time with it.

I find it refreshing that someone uses it as a personal expression that the Corvette is just another car. They are just expressing a real give-a-crap attitude about what so many believe has to be a pristine example of their wealth/achievement/manhood.

I'm very tolerant as far as folks doing ther "own thing" in the name of art. My personal opinion is that it is sacrilege for home modifiers to think that they can change their Corvette at home and have it turn out better than Chevrolet can produce. Home modifiers can only make it different. The days of flipping your air-cleaner lid upside down and improving our breed are over. Art though...Hmm

I certainly never said this was art...but then "art" is always in the eye of the beholder. I think of it as "modded", just like any one who adds stripes, flames, airbrushed hood covers, etc.

I've always said people can do whatever they want to their cars but that doesn't mean others will like it. Heck, my stock Vette is totally boring to many so even doing nothing can be perceived as a negative.

It's interesting that this guy has never (to my knowledge) posted any pics of this car here. Others have.

As much credit? At least those people take pride In their vehicles. This guy is insulting Corvettes and their owners on purpose. He is degrading this poor automobile that many people can just dream about owning and caring for. If I saw this guy, I would insult him to his face and hoped he reacted the way I would want him to.

Once I settle on buying a Corvette, I'm satisfied with it. Then, I don't put any more money into it besides maintenance because--I would rather save for the next generation. It's the next generation that has the real improvements that will appeal to me.
