Not sure if you guys still need it, but Shurway has been around awhile and is family run. I haven't had them do any work, but did meet with them about my pewter 99 this summer.
I had Schaefer Autobody in O' Fallon work on a grand Prix a couple of years ago and was very happy with the work and price. |

St Louis to Charlotte NC. That would be one heck of a drive. I am sure that there HAS to be someone out there that takes pride in getting a color to match. Hope you find one...BUT if not....

Sadly, most want to blend instead of butt match.:( My thought is why would you take the wrong color further in (blend)on the car. Elite Customs and Standox Paint are working together to try and come up with a butt match.
Butt-matching a color is do-able... because I have done it. But by the time all the smoke clears...the job would have turned out just as awesome and in less time if I had blended it. And that is taking into account the other panels that would need to be blended into and cleared. I hope you come to a conclusion on this matter that satisfies you when completed. For me...it always boils down to looking at the car from about 50-100 feet away...under different types of light and angles to make sure that the color is perfect. "DUB" |
