WMC: Ken Lingenfelter car collection tour?
 

I've got something set up to go tour the lingenfelter car collection tour on October 16. It is in Brighton and the tour time is 10-12. Cost is $10/person. we would have to leave here at like 7:30am

They have well over 100 cars that range from the most expensive exotic supercars like the Veyron, to some of the most hard to find rare muscle cars of the 50's 60's and 70's

I've invited other friends as well so this is NOT a corvette only thing! :thumbs:

i would like to express interest. is this opportunity open to people from Chicago? this would be about a 5 hour drive each way.

sure! when the event gets closer we'll try and figure out a spot to meet up if you would like. or if its easier you can just meet us there.

my brother and i are both interested in driving to Brighton. what do you need for us to lock in a spot for the tour? money in advance? can you PM me the address for the warehouse? i would likely drive straight there as Grand Rapids is not exactly on the way.

perhaps other like-minded enthusiasts in the Chicago-area will be interested in driving to Brighton.

the collection, from what i have seen on you tube, is absolutely amazing and will likely be well-worth the ride and entrance fee.

man, why cant teleportation be a possibility....im not sure I could sell the wife on a 12 hour drive for a 2 hour tour....:willy:

i did invite some other friends of mine that i have yet to get a confirmation from and there is a limit to the ammount of people that can go. we will be joining a BMW club on that date and time. that time is about all that was left during the driving season so i took it. I will find out exactly how many people i can have in the group. i do know they only allow 100 people per tour. ill get back to ya asap.

as for the money, you will pay them directly when we get there so there is no need to send money to me.

This is coming up 2 saturdays from now! the plan is to meet up and leave Grand Rapids at 7:40am and drive down. the meeting spot is not yet determined. i'll do that when i see who is going so i can pick a good central point. The tour is 10-12 and cost is 10/person and that can be paid directly to them when we get there. If you are going to go let me know asap so i can give them a list with a count. i plan on sending them an email with that info on tuesday oct 12 Post up here or PM me asap so i can add your name to my list. What is the status of this? Where to meet what time in the morning?

The 16th is the same day we are going to Dexter Cider Mill and HELL. I would be interested in a future day.

It's still on. I'm thinking for the people in the GR area we will meet at lowell exit 52. There is a car pool lot just off the highway. We will leave there at 7:45am

Everyone from out of town will just meet us there.
