I am new to this...bare with me...

I keep reading Z51 suspension, selective ride control...I have a 99 and need to know what suspension I have. I am sure I don't have selective ride control, but how do I know if I have Z51? Is there a VIN code or door decal? Just don't want to buy the wrong parts. Thanks.

I found this in a search:

FE1-base supsension
FE3-Z51 supsension(and you should also have G92 if it's an auto)

(glovebox sticker)

One thing I'd like to mention here is the Bilstein shocks option.
LG Mototsports uses Bilsteins as part of their coilover package (the non-adjustable ones) for good reason - they are among the best shocks you can buy for your Corvette. The "Sports" are typically recommended for C5s with the Z51 suspension option.

I've used Bilsteins for many years in my 68 and I can attest to their excellent build quality. In almost all cases, they outlast OEM shocks.

I'm sure the Z06 shocks are good shocks but again, don't discount the Bilsteins!
