GForce Chips for $70?

Has anybody tried one of these? Do they work? Price reduced from $400 to $70!

I'm thinking if they really worked then they could get $400 for them all the time and wouldn't need to put them on sale...

:toetap::toetap: Your the THIRD person this week that has asked the same question. :D

C5 and C6 corvettes DO NOT use chips. The PCM has a FLASH Memory. The PCM tuning is done with a OBDII serial interface cable and the new data is written over the old data.

There are several methods that you can use to reprogram your PCM..

Aftermarket Hand held units EXAMPLE (Predator Programmer ( http://www.diablosport.com/ )

EFI LIVE http://www.efilive.com/

HP Tuners http://www.hptuners.com/

I have EFI Live and Love it.

If something sounds too good to be true then... well you know the rest.
It says it plugs inline with the air intake temp sensor. so i would think it fools the ecu into thinking its running cooler air and it adjusts for it.

NO they do not work

It is just a 3 cent resistor to fool your Intake Air Temperature to think it is cooler and and will push more fuel with the mixture and slightly increase timing.

$ 70.00 for a 3 cent part is a little expensive.

Making a C5 faster is NEVER inexpensive. :yesnod:

See,,,even a 3cent resistor cost $70. :lol: Corvette TAX!:yesnod::eek::rofl:

Probably the best free mod is the flip tie mod!:thumbs:
