I'm REALLY liking this too! I'd like to see what CG looks like on CG! I can very well guess! But if someone either has a set or can Photoshop it on, thanks.
Either way on posting the directions here or in new thread. If you do start a new thread - just post here that you did so that all that have subscribed to this thread will know to look for it - or just add a link. THANKS! Great job! |

Looks good...I'd still prefer the chrome...but that's what modding is all about...

Looks great. Best mod to the GS. GM are you listening to your customers?
Did you ever post another thread on your process? |
I prefer the chrome personally. I think the cg looks more out of place than chrome. To each his own. I also own a CRM GS. I think the chrome fender emblems make the car stand out. I get a ton of compliments on them. My 2 neighbors down the street have a pair of c6's. They both told me they should have waited for this model. One of the guys has four vette. 63 327, 67 427, 73 with a 383 stroker, 2005 c6, he loves the gs emblem.
I personally think the stripes are a bit too much, except on red on white. |
Looks good to me. I would start a how to thread and put the URL in the first post you made so people can go to it immediately, if they choose.

Thanks for comments everyone, mostly positive it seems. BTW, the "splash guards" are the Apsis Z06/GS molded set. I have mixed feelings about them myself but they do one thing pretty well and that's protect the rear quarter from stone chips.
Anyway, there are a few asking about the process itself of painting and removing/installing the GS emblems. Woud it be better to start a new thread, specific to that process with pics and instructions or just jump in here with that info? |
This looks so much better. How did you get them off?
|
Looks nice. Is it easy to just take the badges off completely? I think I may do that when I get mine next year. Thanks
|
Body color is definitely the way to go. Chevy...are you paying attention? :bigears |

Painted looks much better to me, the big chrome piece looks out of place.
BG had some leftover chrome strips from the XLR production run...soooo. |
Looks great

Hi All,
We are working on this item now. We will have the replacement badges with whatever the finish you want from carbon to color matching to whatever.... So you don't have to waste money to buy new emblem. (it's quite expensive) Stay tuned. |
