Power Steering Pump PULLEY
1998 Bone Stock
Does anyone sell a billet Power Steering Pump PULLEY? I sheared the center out of my stock pulley and would rather not put another plastic pulley back on the car. |

I have a polished one that I bought a few months ago that I'm not going to use.
$75 shipped. If he doesn't buy it, I'll take it. I need one to go on the polished ps pump I just finished. |

Just get a LS3 power steering pump pulley which is a direct fit. Probably $30, black, metal and a wagon-wheel design.
Beats the plastic pulley.... |
So the STOCK LS3 pulley is metal?

LS2 part # 12568997 |
I just ordered a GM Factory pulley for a 2008 Corvette. The dealer said he could not tell me the material it is made of, but he said if it doesn't work or it is not metal, I can return it. No dealers anywhere near me had it so it will take about a week.

i just bought one for my 99 at the dealer ship and it is metal...got it for about 16 bucks...

Yep. LS2 pulley is too. Also a direct fit. Maybe even the same part number for both.

The 2008 pulley is metal and was a direct fit for my 1998, I can't believe I had to do all that work because GM put a POS plastic pulley on their premier high performance icon, the Corvette.
If you do this, remember exactly how you take it off, had to do a few things different when putting it back on with the pulley on the pump. |
