While it's GM name is Crystal Red Metallic Tintcoat, a more accurate generic name might be cranberry metalflake. Monterey Red was darker and more of a burgandy. As metallics go, I really liked the Precision Red from 2005.

I have a CRM vert with the tan top. Gets many compliments. I have heard said that its the most beautiful pant ever.:D

Really need to go see in person. I was going with the metallic Orange and when I went to the stealership and looked at them side by side it was a no brainer for me. Of course its all in what YOUR eye likes. You will enjoy the Vette no matter what color! Good luck!

I am interested in a Vette that is Crystal Red Metalic Tint Coat,
I have not seen the color in person yet. What do you owners think of that color? I just watched an elderly couple take delivery of a crystal red metalic tint coat GS vert at the museum. http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...eshotimage.jpg |

I didn't read all the posts but if you park during daylight in a place lit by low pressure sodium lights your car will be black when you return.
I love the color, I don't really care for the maroon in early sunlight so I sleep late. |
I only buy red cars

When we discovered this CRM color we had to have it on our '09. Been around most every red can imagine and like them all, but this is by far the Best Looking, classiest Red i have Ever seen on a vette. |

Anyone know if CRM is brought back for '11? For me, I think it will be a choice between it and the new Orange Metallic (will need to see both in person!).

Good color

We are now in model year 2013, not 2011. Yes it is here for 2013.
