I have only two words for those ridiculously fat ass Vettes...
...........................UG........LY!!!! ..........................:U:U:U |
Please keep in mind, if there are certain design cues that you like about these kits, but others you don't, do not be shy. Ask us for a quote. We are a custom design company catering specifically to Corvettes. We have a few installs in progress currently that have chosen different parts then what we use on our regular kits.
For example; We have a customer using the Geiger front nose with our kit with a Lingenfelter hood, another using the Pratt & Miller style fender vents, another using the ZR1 Reproduction hood w/window, and custom venting in the hood and fenders, similar to the Hennessey Z700... etc... If it's realistic a design, and your heart desires it, give us a call!  |

I like it, but only if you fill up the wheelwell! I think spacing the tires out 3.5 inches is wrong. If they make a tire and wheel to fill out the fenderwell then it's cool.

Its cool if you simply don't like the look, but I find it very hypocritical that any one who drives a 400-500 HP, 180+ MPH street car would ridicule someone else about what *they* think is "excessive" or "unneeded" on the other person's street car. Glass houses... |
:iagree:
Don't dig the dual scoops, or the side 'splitters' which to me look like steps on a 4x4!

Next will be a 'lengthening kit'...to put the 4 inches back on that GM designed out from the C5's perfect proportions.

Looks hokey doke. And impractical. Looks like it will create drag

Wide Body
Why do this? Makes no sense to me? :flag:

Who couldn't use an extra 4 inches? :leaving:
i think next they will be taking out the LS motor and dropping in a diesel and then there will be a giant 6" pipe out the back.... |
Also, I do prefer the sleekness of the C6. The wide body on the modestly done Z06 looks good and not over done
|
The pic in front of the Dubai Hotel sign says it all.
Pretty predictable in the land where excess isn't enough. 24k gold vending machines, $14.3 million dollar license plates, worlds richest horse race, and so on. http://abcnews.go.com/Business/FunMo...4301197&page=1 I have seen similar fender flares on redneck chevy trucks I believe they used to be for mud. IMO it looks like hell. Sometimes excess just doesn't come with common sense. Friggin number one plates - may as well put big ol silly fenders on a beautiful design. Mebbe I will look into some 24" wheels since 22"s are already played out ... LOL |
I personally dont think it looks bad. Its a little much for me as id prefer an oem widebody, but the orange and yellow cars both look good to me.

Certainly not something for everybody’s likes and/or taste, but rather for the few that exercise their rights to choose in living outside the box and from the rest of the herd. Wheel bearing, adapters and or spacers however would present a concern for longevity, would personally opt for custom-built wheels to satisfy the proper offsets and still accommodate the stance. Interesting to have observed the bashes that took place here on the forum, and still do though not as much, when individuals elected the Z06 widebody concept to their C6s, yet... rave reviews accompanied GM's creation of the Grand Sport model. PS: Admittedly though favorable of the general design; conception, not so much of the dual scoop in that it diminishes the central focal point of the area. Sometimes too much is just that… however given to personal interpretation of course. |
