well , since the OP didn't provide a link , I googled it
it's a stock replacement I would not waste my $$$ on a stock radiator |
RON DAVIS RADIATORS (Glendale, AZ) is another option if you're looking for an oem or performance all aluminum radiator.
He is well known in racing of all types, can produce any type of heat exchanger and has been in business for many years, his father before him... |

Sorry I was working and didn't have time to Google it, but see you did Thanks! Yeah those radiators, (Dewitts), are nice, but unfortunately, I have to get a front spring and water pump, pretty much at the same time...a OEM is fine for me...I didn't have a problem with the stock one until I tried to clean the outside of the pulled out radiator with some cleaner I shouldn't have...Sometimes, even when the product says it is "safe" for cleaning aluminum, sometimes it isn't...
Thanks for the replies everyone... |
Why don't you start a WTB stock radiator thread in the "For Sale" section. People buying the Dewitt's might have perfectly good stock radiators that they are willing to sell. You could also contact Jeff and see if he has a good used one that he has swapped out.

uh a little too pricey... I'll try something else...Thanks

You asked who Jeff was.
I know you don't want to spend the money on a new Dewitt's, but many of his customers probably did. Call him and see if he has a good low miles used stock radiator he can sell you.:leaving: |
Guess I didn't see the post...and whatever...
|
Just installed a Silla rad, fit perfectly. You don't need the AT cooler adapters & remove the orings for those adapters.

Price!

The price not high but right, I went with them for my '98 and could not be any happier - I only wish I had done it sooner:yesnod: Go with the DEWITTS and don't look back:thumbs: spend a little now save a ton of $$ later! Thanks,Matt |
Thanks Bob !

I have a silla on my 05 corvette. Its leaking from the tranny and engine oil cooler fittings. Im having it replaced with a stock oem radiator. I even have a warranty on the silla but i dont wanna put another one of those after my experience with it just starting to leak after installed just 2 months ago.
