About a year after I bought my Z06, my local Chevy dealership changed my clutch fluid, they did it the way Ranger does, and only charged me for the fluid

Thanks for the Service Manual Post. Yes, you are right, there is certainly movement of fluid between the reservoir and the slave - there has to be for the clutch to move.

You can ruin the clutch by NOT FOLLOWING the RANGER Method!
This is must do to your clutch. I bought my ZO6 used with 14k miles.
From Arizona.

The previous owner never looked at the Clutch Reservoir. I did after the car was purchased and brought to me. It had a 1/4 inch of goop
in Reservoir. With the light effort pedal. Too late for the clutch it slipped at 6k. It was changed
for the ZR1 clutch. The old disc looked new with hardly no wear at 14K.
But the pressure plate looked bad. This affects the self adjustment
of the assembly.

Change that fluid using the RANGER method your clutch will love you!:smash:

The best tool is not the TURKEY baster. IT is the BATTERY BULB! You know the one for battery water.
Even better than my MYTI Syringe!
It's bigger and sucks every drop out with ONE suck!
