Just to clarify, Ken Herring owns a chassis shop in East Texas and has built a few 7 second cars which I've seen run at the local track and also met him, I'd say he knows a thing or two about drag racing.

Thanks......we are trying to get this thread back on the ZR1 pass and what its capable of! I hope to be back at the track in a couple of weeks with it! I really want to see a 10.69 @ 134 (but this is just speculation of course)

Track rentals.....Its the only way to go! I cant stand to go to a regular race day. Lucky to get three passes and track prep not always very good.

We tried to tell Kyle this is a drag strip and not a circle track, but he wouldn't listen! :lol:

I do some SCCA autox's and that day I was having some fun bc if I kept it above 40 in the parking lot on the way back the coolant temps were dropping and it was fun keeping it in the lanes of the return road. And most of my 10.7x's came on the hot laps. you could actually run a great gymkhana course at MIR their return road could be a blast! I ran one at my local 1/8mile track years ago in my 95. you just set a moderate pace slalom down the strip part and then have some fun on the return road and pit area.

Its been almost a year, has anyone beat a 10.74 bone stock? Who is
going after the record? Any update on the drag radial time?
There is a track rental at MIR on Saturday the 20th if anyone is
interested.

Im back in a ZR1 again and am looking for a set of drag-radials to see what I can run on them!

I have not been out yet with the ZR1 this year. I was thinking about going to this rental at VMP on Nov.19.
