STEAL! Pristine Metallic Blue C6 (8,900 miles) for Sale $26K!

Yes, you guys heard this right.....:willy: and I want to post this little tidbit first in the Great Lakes forum first. If I do not get any interest from someone here locally, I'm going to post in the C6 for sale forum. At this price, this car should go quickly.

I have already informed someone I work with about this car...and the first one to contact me with an interest and money connects the seller and buyer to the car.....

As you know, I tried putting my C5 up for auction in order to purchase this C6 for sale (only 5 miles from my house - in New Boston). Due to the economy and the time of the year (Corvette driving season has ended) I cannot sell my C5. However, during my conversations with this person we have developed a friendship, and I told her that I would assist in the sale of her Vette. She needs help, and I don't want anyone to try and take further advantage of her. There are no "trades" in this deal or swapping of any vehicles. She wants to sell the car due to personal reasons and pay off the bank loan.

Moderators, I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave this post here for a few days to see if we can find a local buyer who is interested.... and help someone out who really needs it right now.

A deal like this does not come along every day. I would purchase this car in a heartbeat if I could only sell my C5. :willy:

This is the list of bullet points from her ad on Ebay:

2006 Corvette For Sale

This Metallic Blue Corvette also has a glass removable roof.
This car has been garage kept and has never seen snow or rain.
Car was only driven locally in good weather by non smoker.
No scratches, chips, or dents. Car only has 8,900 miles.
Has a race gear mode and paddle shifters neer the steering wheel
It has an LS2 engine, and has not been modified with any aftermarket upgrades.

If you are SERIOUS and have the ability to purchase, PM or email me. You will be "vetted" (pardon the pun!) by me before you are forwarded to her.

This is a picture of the car:

2006? Nav radio?

luvmy82 10-07-2009 10:35 AM

2006? Yes.
Nav radio? I'm assuming you want to know if it has a navigation system in addition to the stereo. No, it does not.

How much warranty remains on this car? Are the chrome wheels OE? I take it the bank holds the title for it?

If he'll post the last 8 digits of the VIN, I'll tell you.

Nice looking car and a heck of a price. Too bad I bought a C5 a month ago. Best of luck to her in selling the car - it shouldn't last long.

Sounds great wish I could help!

Suzanne, thank you for all your help! I really appreicate and I know Sheila does as well. I hope we can get the deal done soon!

Car has been sold to Nick! (SupremeDeluxe)

Congratulations! This is a great deal on a very clean C6...if I only had the C5 sold, it would be in my driveway right now instead of yours...:o (*sigh*)

A good inspection from Jason's Auto Spa would render this C6 as clean as the day it rolled off the assembly line in Bowling Green. When I got in it, it still had that new car smell to it....ahhh.......nothing like it in the world!

Nick...let me know if you need any help with ground logistics if you are flying into DTW in order to pick up the car. The seller is only 10 miles from the airport.

Awesome! Glad to see one of my friends bought it! Nick I'll talk to you this evening!

Glad it found a buyer! Great job Suz!

Suzanne, thank you for all your help and for the kind added offer of helping with logistics. I am going to have everything figured out by Monday when I go to the bank to sign the papers. I may fly in and drive home, or have it trailiered. I'm not quite sure yet.

Rick, will call you later this afternoon. I was not feeling the best after we spoke yesterday and I ended up going to sleep early.

Thanks flying to Detroit early Friday morning and driving it back to Chicago. Can't wait. Major credit to Suzanne (luvmy82) for helping out both the seller and I in facilitating the transaction. She is an asset to forum membership:cheers:

You are so very welcome Nick....your timing on and price was right on the money! (pardon the pun) When you get her all shined up and lookin' purdy....you be sure to post some pix now, ya hear?!

Woke up (very) early today, flew to Detroit, took a limo to the seller's house. I was really impressed with how nice the car is! I looked at several on local dealer lots and this car is among the best of them. Made it home to Chicago in just barely over 4 hours and ran with a 64 convertible from Michigan City, IN almost all the way home (we never exceeded the posted limit, of course;)) Once detailed, this car will be a stunner.

Thanks to Suzanne for all her help:cheers: Have a great cruise tomorrow!
