C5 Sun Visor Replacement
 

I need to replace the passenger side sun visor in my 2003 Coupe. The dealer wants $400 and I know I can buy a replacement for less. How difficult is it to replace?

I hope you laughed long and hard on that one. Sort of like when the dealer quoted my wife $25 to replace a burned out brake light bulb on our minivan.

I think the GM parts vendors can provide you one for much less. I know VE also makes some pretty cool custom leather ones if you want to upgrade. :thumbs:

Order your new one from Gene C.. He'll treat you right. That's a very good removal and installation diagram.

Not hard to replace at all. You might want to check with one of the used parts vendors here on the forum - might be able to pick one up for a really good price.

Go to the E-auction site and type in "corvette sun visor". You may be pleasantly surprised.

Got mine from a junk yard, $85. Can be tricky the plastic ring can be a pain.

Just bought a new left & right set there for $79 a Pair!!!!!
