C5 Climate Control bulb replacement
Hi All:
Anyone ever had to replace the bulbs behind their comfort controls (Automatic Electronic Dual Climate Control System). 2002 C5 automatic....When the buttons are pushed the orange light comes on, but at night when lights are on you can not see buttons at all...someone has told me that they burn out....my shifter does not light up any more either.... Please help. Has anyone replaced these tiny bulbs??? Help it is a pain in the rear :toetap: at night. Tony "Always Waving":flag: |

You need to replace all of them at once, 14 total. Your shifter takes a 194 bulb which you can replace after you remove the Radio Bezel to gain access to the HVAC unit; http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...zel_howto.html |

Besides the dealership, who would you recommend to do this job. I can not do it at all......thanks.

I think you can pry off the bezel with PRND.. on it to replace the shifter bulb. No need to remove the entire console cover. The HVAC controller does require removing the console.
