Ken,
Thanks! Hopefully there will still be a 2010 Corvette despite the happenings of the last 48 hours and going forward.... I also noted yesterday Obama said, if required, the US Government will back all warranties should the current entities fail / bankruptcy / close up shop. http://www.autoweek.com/article/2009...NEWS/903309977 |
Warranty only covers vehicles purchased after 3/30/09

It appears from the news media reports, that the government is only going to back warranties on GM vehicles purchased after 3/30/09
BillB Pretty clear to me the meaning is "effective today, the gov't will back the warranty." Not "the gov't will back the warranty of cars purchased after today." |

One of the other dealers posted pictures of the Grand Sport models a couple weeks ago in the C6 General Section

Any pictures yet?
Not to get off topic, but I'd rather my car never get repaired than take ANY handouts from the government. |
Link?

Where do you see this? Because of the "Starting today...." wording of his statement?
Pretty clear to me the meaning is "effective today, the govt will back the warranty." Not "the govt will back the warranty of cars purchased after today." If you hear something different let me know as I bought my 2009 Corvette 2 weeks ago, so I am probably on my own as far a warranty type work is concerned. |
+1 on the pics

Thanks for the update Ken. We'll just have to wait and see.
|
I am going to go out on a limb here and make a prediction:
The two new models, with new model numbers will have a wide body package included. Time will tell! |
