69 frame stencil numbers

I have a 69 L46 4 speed coupe, this is a november '68 car. Does anyone know what the frame part number and date information would be? This is the information that is stenciled upside down on the passenger side frame. Thank you for the help.

Frame stencil numbers?

I am doing a body off resto on my 69 coupe L46 4speed and would like to find the correct stencil numbers for this car. I can also use any other frame marking info. too. I've surfed the internet for this information with not much success. I'm looking for the numbers and format in hopes to make the stencil myself.
Thank you for the help.

From the DocRebuild catalog. 69 std trans frame # 3973880.
I got a couple of stencils from him, had to provide my own dates but for later C3s.
Layout and numbers were accurate except the letters were a little larger than correct.
$14.

hey barbs - You should buy the book "Corvette Chassis Restoration Guide" by Joseph Tripoli. There is an UNBELIEVABLE amount of chassis, spring, brake, vin, information, plus tons of photos that will help you. There is even a section that shows you what the letter/numbers should look like. From the Chassis stencil chart, 1969 shows 3973880-xx. The xx is the AO Smith production number and you will need to calculate that. you will also need to calculate your date and that needs to be added also on the second line.

ISBN for the book is 0-9624817-0-x

Good luck with your resto
