How to remove door panel??

Does anyone know how to remove the drivers door panel. My window is making a crunching noise as it rolls down

This is the reference I'm using. Good luck.

I found that even the tools made for removing the panel fasteners are too thick to fit between the panel and the door without marring the edge of the panel.
I just used a heavy duty putty knife, put masking tape along the panel and door next to the fasteners, and used patience.
The hardest part of removing the panel is to get the nylon fasteners to release without breaking anything. There is a tendency for the panel to break where the fasteners snap in if you are not careful.
Once you get the panel off, and remove the glass, changing the window regulator assembly is easy. Just a matter of removing the mounting bolts at the ends of the regulator rails. Before you remove the glass, put masking tape along the weather strip along the outside of the door at the top, and mark the vertical and horizontal position of the glass. It will make it a lot easier to get the glass back in the opening exactly where it was when you put things back together.

I've done this before, but windows need adjusting, so I'm "bookmarking" this page

DANGER, Will Robinson!
Do Not, under any circumstances try to pry up the window/lock switch panel! Wait until you have the door panel loose, and just push the panel spring tab out from the back. Ask me how I know.

The spring tab, by the way, is on the rear of the driver-side switch panel, and on the front of the passenger side. But, if you reach in there under the end of the panel with a prying or pulling device, you can break the switch panel - and these are pretty expensive.

I know some have probably done it many times, but do you feel lucky?
