2000 C5 Front Brake Pad clips???
 

So we bought these really nice ceramic brake pads late last year, they didn't come with new clips so I just used the old ones. Big mistake, I have the worst clanking noise coming from the front brakes now. The pro's at our GM dealership say it's the front brake pad clips. The best part is that they say they can't get new ones unless I buy new brake pads $$$$. Has anyone else had problems with this? I just want a new set of clips! Does anyone sell just the clips? any idea's?

You might want to contact a couple of forum vendors - Vette2Vette and Corvette Recycling. They both sell used parts for the car. A link is on the left side of the screen under Used Parts.

Should have bought the GM ceramics. They come with the clips.

If the clips are not damaged just reshape them to fit snugly and you'll be OK:cheers:

Gm forgot to put the antirattle clips in, they fixed it today, no more noise. Thanks again
