Sanderson Exhaust Manifolds(pic's)

These were on my car when I bought it. I think they're around $300 new, so I can't see why anyone would buy them over a nice pair of coated headers. I don't know much about them, but they do look/fit real nice. Sanderson says that with the thick machined flange you don't need a gasket, only a little high temp sealer. This was not the case for me and I was constantly getting leaks so I started using a standard composition gasket and everythings cool now. I coated mine with a manifold dressing and they have stayed nice for 6 months now. They have like 1 1/2" primary tubes and a 2 1/2" collecter. I would like to see a comparo. between these, stock iron, and headers to see how these stack up. Thanks for any input.

Do they mate to a stock exhaust or was fabrication required?

They were installed at the same time as the new exhaust so I'm not sure, it was done before I got it. It looks like stock, but I couldn't say for sure.

I have read a review on those actually. Compared with stock iron manifolds and tubular headers, the Sanderson iron headers came about in the middle. A definite increase in power and torque over stock, but not quite as much as tubular headers.

These are exactly what you'd want to use for a twin turbo setup.

MoMo,
Where did you see that review? I'd like to take a look at it or maybe copy it for my car file.Thanks.
