2 months have gone by and you haven`t called a lawyer.

FstPoon 01-26-2008 05:40 PM

I really appreciate the show of support from everyone. I tried to be tolerant until I saw Jeff (aka milkman) post in the following thread:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...8&postcount=30

I think this is a major case of the pot calling the kettle black. Apparently, Jeff plans to have a productive and fun racing season!

tpereira 01-26-2008 05:40 PM

 I cant even imagine how mad I would be seeing pics of my vette looking like that ! Make him PAY :reddevil

su8pack1 01-26-2008 05:43 PM

That's just wrong. He owes you a car.

Corvette.C6-R 01-26-2008 05:43 PM

Sorry to hear that happened to your Vette. What I would do is take the mileage of my car down before I leave it with ANYONE. And inform them that you wrote the miles down.

If I were you I would go to every Corvette forum out there and let them know about this LYING DOUCHEWAGON JEFF CREECH. He calls that a little fender bender? And doesn't admit to letting your car be used until Terry said he had witnesses to him saying that. JEFF CREECH is a complete joke.

Like Pennys58 said

"If he doesn't man up, take it to the courts. They will have no sympathy for him or the idiots that demolished your car. They can put up to 500 miles on your car...sounds very egotistic to me. You seem to be taking it well, I am not sure if I would be able to control myself. Hopefully things work out"

Good luck with whatever happens. Hopefully you can get a Z06 after you sue his ass.

John

The NC State Trooper accident report is dated 7:06 am. The accident happened 30 miles away from the shop in a different county(Wake County). Jeff's shop is located in Durham. His employee was in the process of taking his daughter to school..hence 2 head impressions in the windshield. The daughter walked away without a scratch from what I was told.

What has your insurance company said? Maybe they will declare it a total loss, and give you cash to buy another one. I am so sorry for you. Good Luck.
Ray

He shouldn't have to use his own insurance company. Use the a**holes insurance.

BTW I used to live in Wake County.

Oh that's a nice touch!! Try and get your money and he's going to liquidate his assets? That should simply get him in more legal troubles... This guy is really a piece of work............ :smash:

I had to use my insurance company to get at least a few pennys extra over NADA value b/c his shop insurance was only willing to give me payoff . Pretty much the story i got was that I bought the car with the mods on it so I should go find another car with the same mods on it.

I don't know this guy and wouldn't want to know this guy! Wouldn't have him touch my lawn mower let alone my vette. It takes a lot of nerve to total a mans vette and then tell the him he's not a rich man? PLEASE! He has insurance and he can BORROW the rest! There is NO excuse acceptable.. none!

If the guy had half a brain he would have handled this unmitigatedd disaster quickly and quietly. He is going to lose BIG TIME in a court of law. I would also sue him for putative damages now.

I hope the owner gets every penny he's entitled plus more for pain and suffering, loss of vehicle, etc! Sorry but I see the pictures and don't need to hear anything from the vendor except how he's replacing the car with a NEW one................ end of story!!

C6NRED 01-26-2008 06:00 PM

This is not unacceptable...its CRIMINAL. Ask that the employee be charged with auto theft, that should be your first step. I am an LEO, and beleive me, they do not have a leg to stand on. If you have put up with this for 2 months, you have been very patient -- beyond what I would have been by far. Time to bring in the big guns. Read up on what punitive damages are in the state -- usually these are double or triple actual damages in these cases. Educate yourself, and get a lawyer involved. He will place a lien on everything Creech owns until this is made right. He literally will not be able to buy or sell anything until you sign off that you are satisfied.........get going!!!

Sativa 01-26-2008 06:00 PM

Wow, that sucks. I would definately go the legal route.

That's bull. A large percentage of Corvette owners don't even mod their cars. Most Corvette owners also don't know about Corvette forum. I would fight this one in the court man. Don't settle for anything low.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: If I lived near the east coast , that is one place I would never do any business with. Get an attorney and go after the owner and the employee! This is :bs

ZO6Gal 01-26-2008 06:14 PM

Man I am really sorry that you went to him. I took my 06 coupe to him shortly after purchasing it for a kooks header install and a tune. Well, I have no idea what kind of "tune" he did, but my car idled at a smooth 2500 rpms:lol: It would either choke off or sound like I was going 100 standing still. I must have taken it up to him 15 times and the car kept getting worse. The entire time, he told me it was a "GM problem" as they would have to update the ecm. I got to the point I didn't even want to drive it any more and wanted to get rid of it. It was then that I was given Jeff Rhodes [Mayhem Motorports now] name and he had to program the ecm back to stock and start over. He was able to tune the car like it should have been from the beginning. I don't know why Creech is like this but believe me, we are NOT the only ones who have had bad experiences there. I wish I would have done a little research prior to going to CAM. Good luck with your situation and I hope everything is made right. That's only fair. ;)
