For some reason, the max rpm that I could rev to or footbraking is ~ 2500 (500whp).

Yank response:

"That is about right because the converter we sent you is a 4,000 flash stall so footbrake is always about 800-1000 RPM less. Also, the triple disk converters are a little harder to stall under lower horsepower. ""

Well that's a slap in the face. Geez Customer service is out the window.

Not really sure. What TC would you recommend for 530whp A6 vette?

Came across many success stories on 4000rpm Yank TC, hence I ordered it. Maybe 3200 or 3600 could have been better?

Circle d or fti all the way. I had 2 yanks and they were trash both broke within a few months. One ended up hurting a transmission. I talked to yank about the issues I had with their PAS3400 converter and they blamed everything but the converter. So I bought a circle d and my issues went away with no other changes.

I haven't hurt a circle d converter yet and I dropped over 3/10 off the 60ft and picked up mph out back even unlocked circle d vs unlocked yank.

Thanks. Guess I will order a circle d soon.

im talking about the triple disc version vs the single disc, yea many have used the Yank with a ton of success such as HOXXOH and Subfloor and there are people who have bad ordeals with Circle D as well and basically every company has some issues i think its the triple disc you should have the single disc version just gather up info and then decide both Yank and Circle D are good companies

LS2 sbe, A6
Yank triple disk 4000rpm stall,
Ported ls3 heads,
ARH 1-7/8,
102 TB,
tsp stage 2 cam.
Lod x1 intake
26x8.5x17 hoosier
DA +1500
Weight almost 3400

11.2 @ 125

I think 8 inches wide tires isn’t helping in 60.
Trying 315x35x17 next.

Is the thread still active? Just took a closer look and the last time the list has been edited was seven years ago...

Because the list creator turned it over to his friend to maintain and later on the friend just walked away. Lots of people would like it to continue, but the forum rules that exist don't seem to have that option. It started in 2005 and 11 years later had 7242 posts when it "stalled". Here we are 7 more years and added slightly over 200 more posts, but roughly 300,000 views.

Seems like something could be done to start a new one or someone take control of the old one.

Built motor with Eforce Supercharger and 4l60 trans. It'd be cool to have an updated list. I bet there a lot faster cars out there then currently on the list.

Superb man! Congrats.
Your ET is my next goal. Is there a way to stroke a 6.0. Need something similar to your setup. Currently stock sbe, ls3 ported heads, circle d 4000 stall and intakes. DA here will never go below +500.

Yes, you can do a stroker on the LS2. My old Sbe ls3 heads cam combo went 10.2 with the car being heavier back then but that was some -1000 DA. My goal for this car is for it to still be a full interior weekend fun car that runs 9s in the normal summer air (we usually see +2000-3000) here in the summer. I think a converter change and set of heads will do that for me with this combo.

Who's car is this? Do you have 2 cars? I see other posts stating that 9s are your goal?
