MPSS OEM Runflat tires 60' on the C7/Z06
 

I went from a 2010 GS to a 2015 Z06 A8 with the factory MPSS runflats that has put down I believe a better 60' than the runflat Cup tires that are also available as OEM on the C7/Z06.

It always blows my mind seeing the #'s produced of the top 4 in the LS3 stock category.

Thanks! I also had my second lowest ET, a 12.2008, just a shade under my previous best ET. Had three passes under 12.22. Didn't come close to my best trap speed which is 119.59. I couldn't hook well in the left lane, which from my experience is faster but harder to hook up in.

Not sure if I'll chase the elusive perfect 11.99 run stock or make some minor mods over the winter.

Thanks I appreciate it! Yes I'm still running the V3SI with a 3.4 pulley on meth. Cars makes about 12lbs of boost.

Stock sizes 245-40-18s on front and 285-35-19 on back. I like the tires. They hook much better than the Goodyear F1 Run Flats did. They also ride smooth and I like the look too.

Didn't realize they were doing a Test N Tune that date at the Rock or I'd have tried it out.

This is why the rules for showroom stock state:
Classes:
1.) Showroom stock
The way it came from the factory, stock tires, air path, stat & etc.
You may add or decrease tire pressure, have as much or as little gasoline as you like

The list and rules are only meant to show what the capabilities are under each category as a comparison of mods. Since weather conditions vary immensely and affect the results, timeslip data can be factored in to get a better feel for local conditions than just the raw numbers.

I don't make or enforce the rules, but even though your submission didn't follow them for the Showroom stock class, it can still be helpful to others. Just re-submit using your best timeslip when using the OEM GY's and additionally include the timeslip with the Firestones to show how much difference a tire can make.

Got a new best at Atco today, Still need some time to work on getting a good 60ft with this new setup but the car is moving. A 15" slick next year should make things real interesting.
