Can someone give me an opinion on this car?

I'm possibly shooting myself in the foot posting this, but I don't really know what to look for in a C1-2 vette and this seems like a good car if the ad is correct. Can anyone give me professional opinions on this car if it is a good buy?

If you could buy this car under $30 do so. It looks like a pretty nice car.

Nice looking 64.
I don't think you could get hurt buying it at that price with the current Mid Year market the way it is.
Try bidding around $27,000 and see if they take it. You never know.;)

Looks like a nice driver.Sounds like the guy is giving you a good description of the car.You never know he may take less than the buy it now price.Just remember to have it checked out by someone that has been arond the mid years. That is what i would do if you cant inspect it yourself .Good luck :flag: :flag: :flag:

I agree not a bad buy for 27,000. Your not going to get hurt. I would check body panels if you were going to go any higher. ''Its a Driver" If you end up with it please change the White Walls. Yuk.

Good Luck going forward.

For what it is (not original motor, 64, coupe) it looks like a good price.

I would want to see pictures of the windshield surround where it meets the leading edge of the door, the door hinge area, and pictures underneath the car to check the frame. Specifically, I'd want a picture in the rear wheel wells looking forward at the "kick up" area of the frame. That is where midyears like to rust.

I've seen this car on eBay for a while now, but I don't recall if the asking price has been falling or staying the same. Either way, I think anything under $30K for a reliable midyear driver is a good deal.

Good luck and let us know how it works out!

It is a nice car for the price. The reason the price is low is the non- matching engine and some customization in the rear exhaust area. If you just want a nice looking vette to drive and have fun with, looks like a winner.

Yep-I noticed it on Ebay as well, it looks like a real nice price if your looking for a nice driver, check out the frame and make sure its solid, I think you'll have a fun car at a reasonable price.

ive been at there shop and looked at this car. The frame and windsheild looks good, and engine sounds mechanically fine and does not look like its been in there long. The transmission shifts good. But when i took it for a test drive i found the rear end to be low because at 75 to 80 it seemed it was tached out. All the lights work, but the tach and clock dont work.
