A bump to the top for you:thumbs:
The guys told me you were out at the toy airplane races last weekend, glad you could make it. They were thrilled by your visit, but next time you need to fly. I'll bring the hardware! Dave Thanks for the bump. I did enjoy talking with the racers when they were here. You'll bring the hardware for me to race? Do you have any idea how many airplanes I've converted into (non-reusable) lawn darts?? Eddie:D |
Just a friendly reminder that this car is for sale.

That is one BEAUTIFUL C6 even in Red (sorry) but I would buy it just for the sake og its previous owner Man that would be awesome. I truly hope you stay around the forum and check n once in a while Good luck and God Bless from the North Country. |

The last time I looked, we still held the Canadian water speed record--223MPH at Fanshawe Lake. My wife Ercie and my first race together! The fans were great! VERY enthusiastic, treated us like rock stars! Some Fun!!  Thanks for the bump and the good luck, and may God Bless you as well!:yesnod: Eddie:D |

I apologize for the picture quality, but I really like how cozy the car looks and feels when it's not top-down weather! The "waterfall" between the seats lets you see how pretty the RED is, so you can enjoy the color yourself, while you're driving it- a constant reminder of how pretty it is on the outside!!

I am now holding the car for a fellow Texan, pending the exchange of funds/Vette.:)
More later.:yesnod: Thanks all!!  Eddie:flag: |
Thanks Eddie and Ercie!!!
:) The 06 is more beautiful than the photos and any new car on the showroom, thanks to all the cleaning and waxing time you invested. The ride back to Dallas was great and the car performed perfectly.
You guys are two of the most genuine, down-to-earth and gracious people that Kat and I have had the pleasure to know. We so enjoyed our evening with you and never dreamed yesterday morning that the evening would find each of us (separately of course) next to you in the Ford GT pushing 150 mph. "Thrill" Hill indeed... and a thrill we will never forget. Kat has already placed several of the memorabilia items you presented to us on public display in her office. Your friendship is the true prize. May you two continue to be blessed. Hal and Kat:auto: |

It's fun to visit with such like-minded folks- "brothers with different mothers" I'm really glad that Red is with folks that appreciate and know how to treat a really cool car! It makes me feel good to hear how much you like Red, and very gratifying that it meets your expectations.:) Glad the ride in the Ford GT was enjoyable, and that the racing memorabilia is already being used. Don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions, or if you just want to enthuse a bit about the car- One thing I thought about after y'all had already left-- take a look, and a feel, of the molding mark in the center of the rear tires. It's not only visible, but very easy to feel. To me, they look almost fresh out of the mold, some tangible proof of gentle use, and, like I said, never even one burnout. I hope and trust the three of you will have many years of miles and smiles and pleasant memories!!  Eddie and Ercie:flag: |
it appears there is a new member of the "Eddie Hill's Former Vette Squadron".......congratulations to all.......:flag:

Artist's rendition:
Leaving Eddie's driveway :auto: Arriving home with the goods:  |
Proud to be with you
Eddie and Ercie were so great that leaving was tough but leaving Eddie's driveway became mandatory because he was really starting to stall about letting us go with the car. Can't blame him. The car is unbelievably immaculate.
If there is a real "former Eddie's Vettes" group, please let me know. Proud to be among the elite. Thanks for the kind reception. Hal and Kat |
Usually when you see hi res pictures, some sort of flaw will pop to the eye, even if it is just fibers left behind by polishing cloth.
Eddy did indeed leave that car scarily immaculate. Ya done good, hvw! |
