Best spray wax?
OK, it's hell getting old, but I need to find a compromise between Zany (pun intended) applications of a half dozen layers of wax and endless buffing, and a decent protection/shine. I'm looking for the best spray on-wipe off wax or polish that will give me the best protection against bugs, UV, and other contaminants. Obviously I'm not expecting Zaino/Rejex quality protection but if you had to compromise and use an easy spray on/wipe off product and you wanted the best protection you could get with that type of product, what would it be?
:bigears Thanks, Mike |
Why not Rejex? Very easy to apply and wipe off. No buffing required and you get a polymer based paint protection.

Maybe you should try the new Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal spray. Check it out.

Wow! Just looked that up, and it looks great! I'm going to order some. As to why no Rejex: I'm trying to avoid the double rub. Don't want to have to rub the stuff on and then spend another step buffing it off which is why I was looking for a spray. The CS spray looks like the ticket! Thanks.
Mike it's safe for the clear coat and can be put on wet or dry ! now hows that for laziness ?  |
Do spray and wax belong in the same sentence together?:nono:

Try ICE
I've been a dedicate Zaino user, but I just applied Turtle Wax Ice on my 07 coupe in velocity yellow. Super easy to apply and just too simple to buff. The results were amazing -- the finished sparkles. Costo has the whole Ice kit for $19 with a bottle of detail spray. You can do a whole car in 20 minutes. Worth the try.:)

let's just say we disagree. oh, and by the way, i can attest to the protective coating against bugs etc.... sorry it doesn't cost a bundle or require a lot of work and the car looks great ! |
its not spray but P21S goes on real easy and comes off even easier - no white residue

6 days after washing & spraying Griots Spray On Wax while still wet, just dry.

Zaino Z6 and Z8 work like spray-on QD's. Great for maintaining shine between full details. Z6 has some mild cleaning capabilities and gloss enhancement. Z8 really makes the shine pop and gives the surface that slippery feel.

Duragloss Aquawax... You can get this from AutoGeek. After trying it, I went back and bought a gallon. The stuff rocks!
http://www.autogeek.net/duragloss-aquawax--951.html BTW, this stuff is very similar to Z8 and it's less than half the price:thumbs: |
You ask a question about what spray wax to use and half the responses are about Zaino/Rejex (a polish). I'm going to try ICE for the heck of it but I am a Zaino user myself (there I got my plug in)
