Corvette Masters in Orlando?

Thinking of getting them to do my pre-purchase inspection on a C4. They seem very friendly and knowledgeable.

I've read mixed comments in the archives... but what can go wrong with an inspection?

Anyone have endorsements/comments?

I have used them several times with no problems .

Before I started doing all my own work and learning stuff I had them do EVERYTHING. They REALLY know their stuff and I always had EXCELLENT service every single time. I highly recommend them.

They are excepetionally friendly and will even stop what they are doing to come out and BS with you about your car questions for a few mins if you happen to stop by.

Why don't you give us a few details about the C4 you are looking at? Maybe someone here has already looked at it or knows the seller.

Not to say that you shouldn't have a mechanic look over any car before you buy, but you can probably eliminate the real problem cars just by knowing what to look for.

This forum is full of knowledgable C4 owners who would be glad to tell you what to look for on any particular year car.

Stay Away!

Stay away from corvette masters!

I can cite you several examples of them overcharging, charging for work that wasn't done, or wasn't done correctly...

I have only had 2 dealings with them personally...
We had taken a 82 to them, to have a "fuel problem" fixed....
They quoted almost 900 to fix it.. Turned out to be a fuel pump...

When I had first bought my 86, I dropped it off down there to have it "tuned up", and given the once over... was told it would cost less than $250, and be ready in 2 days.... 5 days later, they hadn't even moved it, popped the clamshell, or anything, and they were already talking $400+...

Mike Norris (aka Next Level Performance) is right around the corner from there!!
His rep is unquestioning, he's a suporting vendor, and regularly contributes to discussions. They also have a great c4 guy, which is getting harder and harder to find...
