your thoughts on sub configs
 

I have a 2 ch amp that will run 2ohm per chan or 4ohm brgd( it doesn't say I can run 2ohm bridged). I can either run one ch to each coil(dual VC) @2ohm or run bridged @4 ohm w/vc's in par. What do you guys think?

What are the watt outputs at the 2 ratings and what subs? What efficiency and what RMS recommendations for the subs? 4 ohm bridged has become the popular way to go but IMO try it 2 ohm 2 channel first and then wire it 4 ohm bridged to see what the sub likes better, or more importantly your ears like better :thumbs:

The amp is the new Pioneer Premier PRS-D2000T ICE, 300 wtx2@2ohm or 600 wtx1@ 4ohm. The sub is the Premier TS-W3002SPL, eff is .21% and rms p is 1,000, dual 2 ohm vc. I was going to run mono @4ohm, but the other day I read about a "Car Audio"(mag) equipment tester and reviewer ran 2 diff amps to each coil while testing the new Pioneer 5102 sub. So I thought surely I can run a diff channel to each coil, but power is the same so I guess it comes down to how it sounds. I know someones proly been through this. Thanks

Bridge it, if you run it each voice coil to each output on the amp you will fry the sub because each voice coil will get a signal one will get left the other right
