It was the responsible thing to do, and most likely not Obama's idea anyway.
There's plenty to criticize BHO about. This ain't one of them.

Yeah, but it probably didn't have as many (I)'s, (Me)'s, and (My)'s as this load of crap.

I don't have a problem with them being prepared for it to turn out badly, I have a problem with him setting it up to blame someone else if it did.
Obama was smart. We all know the only reason Carter didn't get reelected was because his Iran hostage mission failed. Both of those Presidents are on such an even keel.
